Infidelity
Quiet fact-finding around a relationship or household when you need a record, not a rumor.
What it is
An infidelity investigation documents meetings, travel, and household patterns that a client can take to a lawyer or to a hard conversation. It is surveillance and records work with a narrow question. It is not a trap, a confrontation, or a public scene. We do not impersonate a friend to get a confession. We do not install hidden cameras in a bedroom. What we can do is watch public activity, confirm who was where, and write it down. If the facts do not show what you expected, that is still an answer.
How J.I.S handles it in Texas
These files come through the same Helotes desk as every other Texas assignment. We ask for the lawful purpose, the cities involved, and the windows that matter. Field work stays inside Texas PI rules: public observation, no trespass, no illegal recording. If the other person lives in Austin and you live in San Antonio, we staff both ends when the file needs it. We will not call the subject to “ask them to be honest.” Messages stay in the Client Portal so a screenshot trail does not live only on your phone. License A24038101 is on the work.
What the client receives
You receive dated documentation of what we observed, with photo or video when the post allows it, and a written narrative that a lawyer can read. We do not write a morality play. If we saw a dinner, a hotel, or nothing at all, the report says that. You decide what to do with the record. If you later need the same facts in a divorce or custody filing, the file is already in one place. We do not send the report to the other party unless you instruct us and the law allows it.
Who uses it
Spouses, partners, and their attorneys use this work when the household story no longer matches the calendar. Some clients need the record before they retain counsel. Some already have a lawyer and need exhibits. Business or community-property questions sometimes sit on the same facts. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you need a licensed investigator after that, we are still here.
Questions we hear
- Will you confront my spouse?
- No. Confrontation is not the assignment. We document and report. What you do with the facts is yours and your attorney’s.
- Can you access phones or email?
- Not by hacking, guessing passwords, or installing spyware. If you already have lawful access to an account, talk to your attorney about what you may use. We stay inside legal collection.
- Is the work confidential?
- The firm treats the file as confidential. We do not advertise your name, and we do not discuss the case with the subject. Court process can still require disclosure later; your lawyer can explain that.
